At JPEG Consulting, we help companies in advertising, media, and adjacent technology sectors grow smarter, faster, and more sustainably. Our work blends strategic insight with practical execution, whether it’s building high-performing sales teams, designing go-to-market strategies, or providing executive advisory support. We focus on turning challenges into opportunities and ideas into measurable results.

Our Philosophy
We believe that growth doesn’t happen by accident; it comes from clarity, alignment, and execution. By combining deep industry knowledge with a hands-on approach, we help clients navigate complex markets, scale their teams, and make data-informed decisions that stick. For us, consulting is not just about recommendations; it’s about results that move the needle.

Our Founder – Geoff Wolinetz
Geoff Wolinetz has spent his career at the intersection of media, advertising, and technology, helping companies translate ambition into impact. From leading sales teams to advising executives on strategic growth, Geoff has seen firsthand what drives success … and what gets in the way.

He founded JPEG Consulting to bring a different kind of advisory experience: one rooted in real-world experience, practical solutions, and a personal commitment to helping clients succeed. Geoff combines a strategic lens with a hands-on mindset, guiding organizations to not only define their vision but also execute it.

Prior to founding JPEG Consulting, Geoff built a deep operational foundation across some of the most influential companies in media and ad technology. He spent 16 years at Turner Broadcasting in a range of operations roles, gaining firsthand experience in how large media organizations scale, evolve, and adapt. He then spent 7 years at FreeWheel, where he ran supply-side revenue across both the technology and media businesses, helping shape monetization strategy during a period of rapid industry change. Most recently, Geoff spent 3 years at OpenX, representing the SSP to demand-side partners across the Americas and EMEA, giving him a global perspective on marketplace dynamics, incentives, and friction points across the ecosystem.

Outside of work, Geoff is passionate about fostering diverse talent in technology and media, and he enjoys exploring creative projects that connect people, ideas, and opportunities. In addition to JPEG Consulting, Geoff runs “OK, So … Media" which publishes the semi-monthly newsletter “Geoff Wolinetz Is Too Late” and is a co-host of the podcast “Leadership In” (co-hosted with Greg MacDonald). He’s the West Coast Director of the Cognitive Film Society, a Board Member for The Amanda Selwyn Dance Studio/Notes In Motion and sits on the board of other non-profits.

He lives in Los Angeles and New York City.
